A mother who murdered her two young daughters because they “got in the way” of her sex life has been jailed for life.
Louise Porton killed three-year-old Lexi Draper and 17-month-old Scarlett Vaughan less than three weeks apart.
She suffocated Lexi in the early hours of January 15, 2018, and was then heard laughing at a funeral parlour two days before killing Scarlett on February 1.
Porton denied killing her children but was found guilty by a jury at Birmingham Crown Court on Thursday, and jailed on Friday for life with a minimum term of 32 years.
