The National Heritage Institute called on civil society activists and youth urging them not to paint nor draw on historical monuments such as Uqba Mosque of and The Aghlabid basins.
It is noteworthy that many regions have observed cleaning and colouring campaign of some archaeological and historical areas. Some of these initiatives transformed into a state deformity of the monument aesthetics.
