Children flee massive all-in brawl at Mandurah basketball game

Kids were fleeing the brawl which was sparked by an ongoing issue between two local families.

Police were called to the all-in fight at an under 15s girls match at the basketball courts on Pinjarra Road just before 7pm.
Dozens of people were involved in the fracas which took place in front of children and had spilled from inside the courts to the outside of the sports centre.
It is believed the feud was sparked by an ongoing issue between two families.

Nine News Perth reporter Kamin Gock said children were seen running away from the brawl and and there were reports an umpire had been bitten.
Police say so far there were no reported injuries.
Just over two hours later, at 9.30pm, police were called to another disturbance, this time on Duncan Street in Coodanup, which involved 15 people linked to the previous fight.
No arrests have been made and police are investigating both fights.
Police would like to speak to anyone who saw the incidents and anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers.
