Three years ago, Facebook launched its encrypted or end-to-end messaging service within its IM and Facebook messenger application, but remained confined only to text messaging, and is not enabled by default and must be activated by the user via the settings.
Chinese blogger Jane Manchung Wong posted a leaked photo on her Twitter account, revealing that Facebook is testing the voice and video communications feature on its encrypted messenger service, the first time it has been engaged in this new experience.
