This trick allows you to rid yourself of the milium

It can be very easy to get rid of milia - no need to go to the beautician

Contrary to popular belief, milium, the small white protuberances that appear on your skin, has nothing to do with acne or blackheads. Milia is often confused with blackheads that appear when the pores of your skin are clogged with sebum and dead skin. Milia occurs when keratin is trapped beneath the surface of the skin. Keratin is a structural protein found in the hair. Milia is also enclosed much deeper under the skin than blackheads, so trying to pierce it does not help.

Step by step

We always knew that it was possible to remove milium from the beautician, but did you know that there is a simple method that can help you get rid of it yourself? It is much cheaper and the result is the same. It is important to remember that you must use sterilized material to prevent infection. Here are some tips to follow:

Warm washcloth:  Wash your hands with soap and water, then dry them properly. Then use a clean glove dipped in hot water to wet the area affected by the milium. This step will make the following easier.
Clean the milium:  Take a cotton disc or cotton swab and use it to dab hot water on the milium to clean it well.
Needle:  Use a sterile needle (it is important to use a sterile needle to prevent infection). You can switch antibacterial cream on milium to ensure that your skin is well disinfected. Then, prick the needle at the top of the milium. Be sure to sting through the top layer of skin, otherwise you will not be able to remove the milia. Now, remove the needle and take a disc or a clean cotton ball. A little blood can come out of the small hole that you have just pierced, but it does not matter. Remove the milium by pressing gently on both sides. Spend some antibacterial cream on the small hole that stays next.
